Have you
ever wanted to make your own television show? Ever dreamed of
sitting in a state-of-the-art television station control room,
directing a live studio production?
After
several months of planning, we are pleased to announce the CPA-TV
Director's Certification Course!
Developed by
the current CPA-TV heads of production, this is an exciting new method
for training prospective studio directors and producers. Each
course will consist of several studio sessions, participation in the
production of various existing studio programs, and the production of
your own 30-minute television show.
Beginning in
June of 2008, the CPA-TV Director's Certification Course includes the
following:
● Studio Basics / Director's Worshop
Saturday, June 7, 2008 from 10 AM - 4 PM at CPA-TV
This class is an introduction for everyone
interested in getting involved at CPA-TV, whether hosting or
producing and directing. It also includes a
tour and general run-down of the entire facility.
● Individual course sessions will be held, comprised of targeted
learning in the following areas:

● During the months of June
and July, participants will be required to assist in the making of five
studio
productions. In addition, participants are
expected to bring note-taking materials to each class.
● Fees:
City = $80 per person
Non-City = $96 per person
** Payment is due at the start of the course. Each participant
must provide a valid driver's license for
proof of residency. No exceptions.
